Ieri sono andato in un grande magazzino e ho comprato diverse cose. Ora che sono a casa, le osservo e penso a come sono fatte. Posso dividerle in base ai loro materiali. Prima di tutto, ci sono le cose dure. Ho comprato una tazza di ceramica per il caffè. La sua superficie è molto liscia e il materiale è duro e resistente. Poi, ho comprato un tagliere di legno per la cucina. Anche il legno è duro, ma la sua superficie è un po’ ruvida al tatto. Infine, tra le cose dure, c’è una piccola pentola di metallo. È molto liscia e brillante. Poi, ci sono le cose morbide. Ho comprato un paio di pantofole. La suola è di plastica dura, ma la parte superiore è di un tessuto morbidissimo e caldo. Ho anche comprato un asciugamano nuovo per la doccia. È di spugna, un materiale molto morbido e assorbente. La sua superficie non è liscia, ma è piacevole sulla pelle. Yesterday I went to a department store and bought several things. Now that I am home, I look at them and think about how they are made. I can divide them based on their materials. First of all, there are the hard things. I bought a ceramic cup for coffee. Its surface is very smooth and the material is hard and resistant. Then, I bought a wooden cutting board for the kitchen. Wood is also hard, but its surface is a bit rough to the touch. Finally, among the hard things, there is a small metal pot. It is very smooth and shiny. Then, there are the soft things. I bought a pair of slippers. The sole is made of hard plastic, but the top part is made of a very soft and warm fabric. I also bought a new towel for the shower. It is made of terry cloth, a very soft and absorbent material. Its surface is not smooth, but it is pleasant on the skin. It is interesting to see how many different materials there are in everyday objects. I like to touch objects and feel if they are smooth or rough, hard or soft.
