- Indirect Complement: Ti ho detto tutto; ma parlarti è stato difficile.
- (I told you everything, but talking to you was difficult).
2. la
- Direct Complement: Signora, devo informarLa/La devo informare che la riunione è stata rinviata.
- (Madam, I have to inform you that the meeting has been postponed).
3. Le
- Indirect Complement: Signore, vorrei chiederLe/Le vorrei chiedere un favore!
- (Sir, I would like to ask you a favor!).
4. vi
- Direct Complement: Vorrei aiutarVi / Vi vorrei aiutare.
- (I would like to help you).
- Indirect Complement: Quanto Vi hanno dato? RegalarVi qualcosa era un obbligo?
- (How much did they give you? Was giving you something an obligation?).
5. Li (masculine)
Direct Complement:
- Signori, posso averli tutti al ricevimento di stasera?
- (Gentlemen, can I have you all at the reception tonight?).
- Erano presenti anche Loro? Non Li avevo notati, mi dispiace!
- (Were you also present? I didn’t notice you, sorry!).
6. Le (feminine)
- Direct Complement: Signorine, scusino! Non Le avevo riconosciute!
- (Ladies, sorry! I didn’t recognize you!).
